My Miniature ThReAdTeDs™ are in sizes from 5/8 inches (Micro Miniatures) to 4 inches. At times I will make a larger bear when I find a special “fuzzy” yarn that needs to be made into a larger bear in order to give it the correct scale. Trying new yarns is one of my favorite things and I am always looking for new thread and yarns. Sometimes I am lucky enough to find a wonderful vintage yarn in great condition. I prefer using natural fibers such as wool, cotton, silk and linen but if I find a high quality synthetic yarn I will use that as well. Descriptions of my bears always include the types of materials used. Many of my bears are one of a kind, however, if it is one that is loved by many people I may make another that is similar, but not identical to it.
